I'm not sure yet whether I will use them as they are, or insert elastic in the tops - depends what goes in them. With elastic they make great bags for a single ball of wool.
I made 8 and have shown them both sides.
A very satisfying result.
A record of my stitching and related activity - mostly smocking and embroidery - and what I am learning along the way.

a great selection of bags, wonder how you made them, any chance of a tutorial or link to instructions please
I will be happy to oblige, Margaret. It might take me a couple of weeks - we get possession of the extension to our house in a few days and have a lot of furniture and kitchen contents to unpack before Christmas - but after that I'll get to it.
Great idea! You have some beautiful prints there.
They do look nice, don't they? I'm sure you'll also be relieved to have your house back to yourself!
Thanks Monica. Hope your hand is better. The building was handed over to us yesterday. It has been ver difficult and busy the last few days. I am busily unpacking boxes and haven't had a chance to read blogs
